and innovation culture in their organisations. The Methodology includes a script
for use of organisations implementing activities for SMEs, to help them
effectively build their awareness regarding relevance of innovation and
innovation culture. It can also be used by SME managers who want to develop a
culture of innovation and involve employees in finding solutions for the company
problems.
The Visual presentation accompanying the Methodology is meant for the use of
both the intermediary organisations and for SMEs managers. It presents in an
attractive way brief answers to few questions regarding innovation in SMEs:
What is so important about innovation?; How is innovation useful for SMEs?;
Are there any tools to develop SMEs’ innovation culture?; How to foster
innovation culture in an SME/or in a team? It is to be used among the tools during
workshops with SME.
Those are flexible tools that can be easily adapted in the specific local cultures
and business environments, depending on the workshops themes of interest,
stakeholders, complexity, final aims, etc.
This Intermediary organization guide is a complement to the remaining elements
which shortly clarifies usability and applicability of the specific elements and the
overall program.
Can I Transfer it to other Applications? Yes. While the tools
where designed for
specific use in the scope of SMEs sensitisation, the knowledge and methods
presented can be easily use to build knowledge of innovation in different target
groups, such as students or leaders in other types of organisations. In such cases,
the educators/trainers should especially ensure adaption of examples and lesson
learnt to specific context and experience of their audience, i.e. focus on/inclusion
of innovation benefits in other types of organisations.
